Grinnell operates a New Jersey DEP approved Class B Recycling Center in conjunction with our Material Recovery Facility. Our Class B Recycling Center provides the safe and responsible way to dispose of organic materials including leaves, brush, tree parts, stumps and yard debris. In addition to organic materials, we accept a wide range of building materials including concrete, asphalt, brick, pallets and construction wood waste. These materials are accepted, processed and manufactured into various end-user products such as mulch, topsoil and recycled concrete aggregate.

Municipal Organic Material Recycling Services

In New Jersey, the law requires that municipalities dispose of their organic materials in a certified organic waste disposal site. Grinnell Recycling will provide your municipality the necessary yearly tonnage reports required for submission to the state.

Recycled Concrete Aggregate (RCA)

Grinnell Recycling also produces New Jersey DOT approved crushed concrete (DGA/QP) which is the ideal base material for any construction project.
